Wow, I’ve learned quite a bit of words over a few weeks! Although the grammar for Level 1 wasn’t new to me, I at least got to expand my vocabulary. 

More words! 

  • 도시 = city
  • 고향 = hometown
  • 유명하다 = to be famous
  • 시골 = rural/countryside
  • 섬 = island
  • 경치 = scenery
  • 촙다* = to be cold
  • 깨끗하다 = to be clean
  • 날씨 = weather
  • 친절하다 = to be nice
  • 시원하다 = to be refreshing/cool
  • 따뜻하다 = to be warm/kind (can be used for temperature or for people) 
  • 선선하다 = to be cool (weather)
  • 조용하다 = to be quiet
  • 뚱뚱하다 = to be fat 
  • 날씬하다 = to be slim/skinny
  • 멀다 = to be far
  • 덥다* = to be hot (weather)
  • 아름답다* = to be beautiful
